​Denise Geiger

​Denise Geiger received her education including art education in Zurich, Switzerland. After moving to the US, she has continued to learn through many teachers and maintained a busy studio even
through the years of child raising and education as minister and clinical counselor.

​Now retired, she dedicates her time working in oils and more recently in pastels. She has been a member of the Swannanoa Valley Fine Arts League for many years and was its president until recently. She maintains a studio at the Red House and actively exhibits both in its Gallery and Studio. She also exhibits in the Sourwood Gallery of Black Mountain and participates in showing with the Appalachian Pastel Society and the Tryon Painters and Sculptors.
